Agreement and eligibility

These terms form an agreement between you and Sansa Group AB, acting through its Sansavision subdivision, for the VocalMax app, website, account, and related services. By using VocalMax you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use VocalMax for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. Children must meet the minimum age and parental consent rules described in our Privacy Policy.

What VocalMax provides

VocalMax provides educational voice practice, acoustic feedback, course content, and personal progress tools. Features may change as we improve measurement quality, safety, and usability.

Important: VocalMax is not healthcare, speech-language pathology, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency support. Scores are product feedback, not an assessment of health, identity, personality, attractiveness, employability, or worth.

Safe use and stop rules

Use a comfortable conversational effort. Stop immediately for pain, burning, dizziness, breathing difficulty, loss of voice, increasing hoarseness, or other concerning symptoms. Persistent or sudden voice changes should be assessed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Do not use VocalMax while driving or where microphone interaction would be unsafe. You remain responsible for choosing whether a drill is appropriate for you.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for access to your email account and for activity under your VocalMax account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

You may not reverse engineer protected service components except where law expressly permits, bypass access controls, interfere with operation, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, automate abusive requests, misrepresent VocalMax results, or use the service to violate another person’s rights or applicable law.

Subscriptions, trials, and cancellation

Premium subscriptions purchased in the iOS app are billed by Apple under the price and period shown before confirmation. Local price, tax, trial availability, renewal terms, and currency are controlled by the App Store storefront and may differ from examples on our website.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your Apple account at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel from iOS subscription settings. Deleting VocalMax does not cancel a subscription.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under applicable law and Apple’s policies. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Content and licence

VocalMax, including its software, visual systems, drills, course structure, text, and marks, is owned by Sansa Group AB or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for lawful personal practice while these terms apply.

You retain rights in content you deliberately provide. On-device voice recordings are not licensed to us because they are not uploaded for analysis. If you send support material, you permit us to use it only to answer, secure, and improve the support interaction.

Availability and disclaimers

We work to keep VocalMax accurate and available, but the service may contain errors or experience interruptions. Microphones, rooms, device models, languages, speech patterns, and background sound can affect results. Do not rely on a score for a high-risk, employment, medical, legal, or financial decision.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that a drill will produce a specific social, professional, vocal, or health outcome.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that rule, Sansa Group AB is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or decisions made from VocalMax scores.

Where a monetary cap is permitted, our aggregate liability related to a paid service is limited to the amount you paid for VocalMax in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Governing law and disputes

Swedish law governs these terms, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protection in your country of residence. Courts in Sweden have jurisdiction where permitted. European Economic Area consumers may also bring claims in their home courts where mandatory law allows.

Please contact support@vocalmax.xyz first so we can try to resolve a concern. European consumers may contact their national alternative dispute resolution body where applicable.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms for product, legal, security, or operational reasons. Material changes will be presented before they take effect where required. Continued use after an effective update means acceptance, except where law requires a separate action.
